Market Gardening in February (A Day in The Life of a Farmer in February)
Market Gardening in February. Welcome back to our monthly market gardening series where I take you through a day in the life of a farmer on a monthly basis. February is much like the previous month, but we're starting the see the end of the tunnel.
Spring is soon upon us and that means that we only have a little bit of time left to get our garden and organization in order, before the upcoming growing season starts.
In this video I'm going to show you what a day in February looks like. I'm going to harvest a couple of beds of overwintered carrots, clean them up, apply a fresh new layer of compost, direct seed arugula in them and then cover them up with fleeces for season extension.
Enjoy the video!
