جراحة زرع الأسنان هي عملية تُستبدل من خلالها جذور الأسنان بدعامات معدنية شبيهة بالبراغي، وتُستبدل السن التالفة أو المفقودة بسن اصطناعية تشبه الأسنان الحقيقية بصورة كبيرة من حيث الشكل والأداء. قد تُوفِّر جراحة زرع الأسنان بديلًا مقبولًا لأطقم الأسنان أو الجسور السنِّيَّة التي لا تتوافق على النحو المطلوب، ويمكن أن تُوفِّر اختيارًا عندما لا تسمح جذور الأسنان الطبيعية بتركيب أطقم الأسنان أو استبدال الجسور السنية.

Dental implant surgery is a process in which tooth roots are replaced with metal supports similar to screws, and damaged or missing teeth are replaced with artificial teeth that closely resemble real teeth in terms of appearance and performance. Dental implant surgery may provide an acceptable alternative to dentures or dental bridges that do not fit as intended, and can provide an option when natural tooth roots do not allow for dentures or dental bridge replacement.
