Thankful/Heartfelt Talk/Masala Vada - Cook with me
Hello Everybody, In this video I share my gratitude on my previous video being the first one to reach a 1000+ views. I share a heartfelt message on my hair donation and also share how blessed I am to be married to a differently abled person.

the second part of this video is a cook with me, masala vada recipe. A wonderful deep fried lentil dish with spices, common in South India
Here is the detailed recipe and method:
2 cups or 500 gms channa dal - dried split chickpeas
5 kashmiri dry red chili
5 regular dry red chilli
soak all 3 in warm water for 1 hour
1 medium red onion finely chopped
2-3 green chillies finely chopped
handfull of corriander and mint leaves finely chopped
3 cloves of garlic
1" piece of ginger
Grind the ginger, garlic and red chillies with a handful of daal finely, with 1 tsp salt, without adding any water
remove the mixture and add it to the chopped onions. also add the chopped green chillies and corriander and mint leaves together.
keep adding the daal in batches and grind coarsely. remove and add it to the mixture and also add 1 tsp fennel seeds and mix well.
Heat some oil in a deep bottom vessel, take a lime sized ball of the mixture, flatten it on the palm of your hand and drop it into the oil. fry well turning often from side to side for 4 - 5 mins. remove and drain excess oil on a kitchen paper towel and serve hot with some chutney or ketchup.
