Finishing The Great Room | Building Onto The Interior Of Our Off Grid Home

We are focused on finishing our great room this week in time for the delivery of the couch we ordered back in April. Getting to work on the interior design- such as furniture and décor make our home feel so much cozier. Winter is arriving soon so in addition to finishing the small things on the interior we are also preparing the homestead. We need the hay bales for our livestock stacked and our piglets need to be moved from the barn to the woods.

We are a couple who are building our own home from the ground up in the mountains of West Virginia. After living near the city our entire lives we finally decided to sell it all, pack up our 3 kids and live in an RV on our 73 acres while we building our own off-grid house and learning to live a more self-reliant life.
