HOW MUCH DO TV REPORTERS MAKE? My Starting Salary Offers in TV News (Small to Mid-Size Markets)
If you're an aspiring journalist, you might be wondering, “How much money do TV reporters make?” So in this video, I’m sharing the first salary offers I received from TV news stations in smaller/mid-size markets as a young journalist out of college.
I believe in the importance of pay transparency. By talking more openly about our salary offers with the people we trust, we can empower people to advocate for themselves at work.
Watch this video for a candid conversation on what it’s actually like to work in news. I’m also sharing some salary research tips & resources for those applying for their first full-time TV news reporter and MMJ jobs!
