An Idiot at Work

Peter's decision-making abilities often are no better now at 55 than when he was four... this was demonstrated this morning after a long early morning hike on the lake trail with his wife wherein whilst getting ready for a swim Peter thought it would be a good idea to dive off the dock with his phone in hand filming to test its waterproof abilities (despite strong warnings from his wife). The second he joyously jumped in, the phone slipped from his hand and sank to the murky, dark 12 foot depths. Herein, I present a video as evidence. The first 30 seconds are Peter preparing to, and then diving in, followed by more than nine minutes of blackness and the periodic distant underwater sounds of Peter diving in again and again trying to find the phone followed by 30 more seconds of actually finding the phone and surfacing. Kudos to Samsung for making phones like the #Flip4 that can survive the idiocy of owners like me...
