This time I decided to go extreme and test the lowest possible average electric consumption on freezing -5.5C outside and inside -4.0C temp. No preheating and car had been standing outside for one week, so battery was cold too. Trick is quite simple, don’t use cabin heating while driving. Use only air ventilation and seat heating. This test can be easily repeated by anyone, just set Low and ventilation level 2-3, so windows will stay clear without any moisture.
