Rather than reveal that weakness, Palpatine deliberately twisted the truth, reshaping the event into propaganda that painted Vader as an unstoppable force who effortlessly crushed his enemies. In reality, this moment exposed just how vulnerable and unrefined Vader still was, highlighting the gap between the myth Palpatine created and the brutal truth of Vader’s early struggles.
