Youth Festival 2021 - Highland Dance Challenge Runner up, Gloria Bayamukama.

Our Youth Festival competitions closed to entries on the night of Sunday 25th April, and we were blown away with the stellar effort from young people trying out a new dance or language!

The quality was high and deciding on the winners was incredibly hard. Our judges remarked "It's so difficult! Everyone is incredible!"...but based on different aspects such as best effort, attention to detail and creative delivery, we are so pleased to announce the winners and runners up:

GAELIC COMPETITION
Winner: Andrew Machika
Runner-up: Maia Palamuleni

HIGHLAND DANCE COMPETITION
Winner: Anny Moyo
Runner-up: Gloria Bayamukama

Winners will receive a tablet, and runners up will receive a Mi-fi device - both prizes for intended use of improving opportunity for connection between our two countries. As all entries were so inspiring, we will soon feature them in a compilation video - look out for yourself 😊
