“Uncovering the History of North Carolina's Free People of Color: A Journey into the Archives,” a virtual program recorded on Tuesday, November 10, 2020. The Friends of the Archives’ annual meeting provided brief organizational updates. Afterwards, Professor Warren Eugene Milteer, Jr. of UNC-Greensboro answered questions, moderated by Joe Beatty of the Office of Archives & History, about his book, North Carolina's Free People of Color, 1715-1885 (LSU Press, 2020).
