Lacey Sturm with a gripping testimony!

Lacey Sturm had a gripping testimony at the Festival of Hope in Oslo.
She tells here how she lost faith in God's care when her cousin was killed and she felt she could never be happy again.
She was attracted to the dark and hated happy people. She became more and more depressed and decided to commit suicide.

But on the day she had decided to do this, she was surprised that the grandmother was at home. And as a punishment because she had skipping schoole, her grandmother said that Lacey had to go with her to the church.
Lacey protested and said what she meant about Christianity, but the grandmother was a strong woman who held that Lacey had to go to the church that night. Finally, Lacey reluctantly agreed.

She sat down on the back bench and felt that she hated everyone there. But when the preacher began to speak, she felt that he was just talking to her and about all the problems she had. He begins to speak to the pain in her heart. And so he stops and began to cry. Lacey was supraised. Christians crying? Why is he crying, she wondered.
Then he said: 'There is a suicidal spirit in the room. God has a plan for you to night, and he don't want you to die! He has a plan for your life! Pleas come up her and let us pray for you!'
But Lacey just want to run away. It was pride that prevented her from going forward. Pride will steal your miracle - but it is not worth that, she said.
Lacey now wanted to leave the church, but an older man stopped her and said, 'I feel that the Lord wants me to talk to you'. And he looked at her with eyes full of purest love she ever had see in strange mans eyes, and it makes her stand still.
'Why are you looking at me like this', she asked him. He said: 'God wants you to know that even if you have never had a earthly father, he will be a better father for you, than any earthly father can be. And he had seen when you cried yourselfe to sleep every night. Your pain comes from your own sins and the sins of other people against you and your family. But did you know that Jesus died on the cross for to take the effect of sin on himself? So we don't have to carrying it in our heart this pain anymore. If we put our faith on him, he kan renew our heart and free us from that pain,' the man said.
And so he asked if he could pray for her that Jesus will take the pain out of her heart.
'Ok, you can try, you can pray,' said Lacey to the man. And he prayed God to embrace her, and for the first time she felt the presence of God. For the first time she knew that God is real!
