Service Dog Task *FIND HUSBAND*

Mya will eventually be in a mobility harness for mobility assistance like counterbalance and bracing, and guide work like this task requires. For this task she is allowed to guide me. So yes she’s “pulling”. When in a harness I’ll be holding a pull handle and not the leash, so she so be able to guide me properly. We’ve only done this task a few times. And this was the most complicated. I lost my husband, I saw him cut down the clothes, and then lost sight of him. Mya picked up his scent initially, then lost it, then picked it back up and retracted to the aisles we had previously been on, back up to the front, where she found a fresh trail, then guided me to the other side of the store we had not previously been on, where my husband was located. Super proud!!!
