Data from the ONS released today has revealed that the poorest are dying of Covid-19 at double the rate of people in the richest areas.
And, while measures introduced to fight the economic impact have helped in the short term, they will reverberate for years, and it is predicted that it will be the poorest who will again feel the effects the strongest.
What will happen when schemes like the government furlough end?
Or perhaps more pertinently - how long can the government afford to keep them up?
