Reinforcement Learning
Prof. Sam Gershman, Harvard University
This tutorial will introduce the basic concepts of reinforcement learning and how they have been applied in psychology and neuroscience. The second half of the tutorial will involve hands-on exercises, exploring how simple algorithms can explain aspects of animal learning and the firing of dopamine neurons.
Exercises are posted here: https://github.com/sjgershm/RL-tutorial/wiki/Exercises
Code for the tutorial is here: https://github.com/sjgershm/RL-tutorial
After the tutorial, slides and resources will be posted on the computational tutorials stellar page.
