Although the theme is from the Baroque period, the currently circulated popular versions were written in the Romantic era. Two of my favorite recordings of this piece are by Heifetz and Milstein.

비탈리의 샤콘:
바이올린 곡으로 클래식 음악 팬들에게는 친숙한 이 '샤콘'은 원래 바로크 시대의 이탈리아의 작곡가 비탈리의 작품으로 알려져 있지만 사실 요즘 연주되는 에디션은 19세기 낭만주의 시대에 편곡된 것들입니다. 가장 널리 알려진 버전은 Ferdinand David 와 Leopold Charlier 의 것들이 있으며 여기서는 Charlier 의 것을 썼습니다.
