Frostbitten Kitty was saved by Russian Babushka

In the winter of 2017, Nina Polosukhina picked up a cat that crawled out to her near her country house (dacha) in the vicinity of Novokuznetsk (Siberia)
The British Fold cat, named Дымка (Dymka = Smokie), was able to survive freezing temperatures down to -30 degrees Celsius for about three months, but froze all its legs, ears, tail and nose. Apparently, the cat was lost.
In this state, Nina picked her up.
A veterinary surgeon from Novosibirsk Sergey Gorshkov undertook to make prostheses for a cat. The operation took five hours. The time from preparation to the end of rehabilitation was 4 months.
“On the prostheses, the cat got up and went on the second day after the operation, it was very unexpected,” says Sergey.
There were several operations in total.
The cat's quality of life is now more than good, the doctor said.
Dymka became the second cat in the world, which has prostheses instead of all legs, the first was this ginger cat.
Dymka can wash and go to the tray, if necessary, it can stand up for itself.
The new owner (Nina Polosukhina) gave $ 5000 to save the found kitty and remains owed the veterinary clinic $ 1,000 (70,000 rubles).
