How to Find Samsung Washer Error Codes & Fix a Samsung Washer Not Spinning

Someone gave me a Samsung WA40J3000WA washing machine that wouldn't spin. Figuring out why It wouldn't do that wasn't easy, but not the hardest, either. These types of machines seem to have the problem often, but putting it in Error Code mode / Diagnostics is SUPER EASY and the system is pretty robust on telling you exactly what's going on.

The first half of the video shows how to deal with error codes. The second half is the actual fix, because I haven't seen a lot of videos explaining how to deal with the TMR Code, as well as the TMR Sensor itself, which was the issue on our washer.
