Before The Next Teardrop Falls

This cover version of Freddy Fender's classic song was videoed with my band at Pont Breaux's on February 5th 2015 with myself on accordion and vocals, Maegen Benoit on mandolin and backup vocals, Gary Usie on drums and Valerie Benoit on bass guitar.

"Before the Next Teardrop Falls" is an American country and pop song written by Vivian Keith and Ben Peters, and most famously recorded by Freddy Fender in 1975. It was certified gold for sales of 1 million units by the Recording Industry Association of America. The song also won the Single of the Year award from the Country Music Association, and was instrumental in Fender also winning that year's Album of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year awards.
