MOUNTAIN BIKE DRIFTING IS SICK - ULTIMATE DRIFT MODIFICATIONS!

Mountain bike drifting is sick - We make some ultimate drift modifications to different bikes and get sideways out on the streets and Urban MTB freeride spots! The E-bike was good but will the extra long tandem bike blow minds?

Today is all about drifting mountain bikes and getting sideways out in the streets of my hometown of Colchester. The art of getting sideways with control is, in my opinion the sickest thing you can do and a bicycle so we search for the best way to make this happen today with a number of different bikes. Tom Cardy also decided to join me for the session and see how he could perform with my favoured modification which is the classic plastic wrap around the tyres. For this I use plastic guttering which I cut in a specific way so that it fits around the tyre and makes is slide. Simple. But it is actually a lot harder than it looks and I still haven't found the ultimate drift mod yet but I will keep trying because i want to go fast and sideways more efficiently! We start the ride off with my Haibike AllMtn 2.0 electric enduro bike and that was pretty fun but the plastic kept getting stuck in the frame so we decided to ditch the plastics and go natural with some good old fashioned wet grass!! After mastering some drifts and also crashing a lot it was time to build the new ultimate drift bike which was built using my tandem bike. We wanted a longer bike because we thought that this would be easier to get sideways with but did it work??
After using the tandem I wanted to show Tom Cardy the power of the extreme MTB tricycle and how fun it is to get drifting with and Tom definitely wasn't let down!
