DIY PLYWOOD BOOKSHELF SPEAKERS

NEW AND IMPROVED (i hope)

I used the first version of this video to test some things out. I felt it was still a bit too long and decided it would benefit from some voiceover as well. I hope you enjoy this update!

Second watch challenge! If this is your second time revisiting this video with me, see if you can spot all the different little DIY projects in the background of my (messy) shop

------

New video, past project! Since I am finally getting around to creating this channel I am finally getting around to a bunch of footage I shot for projects a few years ago that I never did anything with.

I made these DIY Plywood Bookshelf speakers in Jan of 2016 using a speaker kit that I picked up from Rockler Woodworking after being inspired by the Dave Picciuto of Make Something (then Drunken Woodworker) and his bad ass orange speaker build: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=23KeO0mLtWU&t=10s

I took the basic idea from the guide in the Rockler kit for general dimensions and then made it my own. This was one of my earlier more involved builds where I wasn't quite sure how it was going to go but felt super thrilled with the end result and want to make another pair with better speaker components in the future!

If you haven’t already, please subscribe to my channel and like the video! Thanks for watching :)

(Rockler no longer sells the kit I used, but they have this now)

You can probably get your hands on similar speaker components however and here is a link to the original plans for these speakers.
