Another Tribute to Cinema

A story should have a beginning, a middle and an end... but not necessarily in that order. Every story is its own kind of expedition, with its own set of challenges. A film is a petrified fountain of thought, the end of a picture is always an end of a life, all one film, just different chapters.

A film is -- or should be -- more like music than like fiction. It should be a progression of moods and feelings. No art passes our conscience in the way film does, and goes directly to our feelings, deep down into the dark rooms of our souls.
