The makers of Gvoke® want to make sure you know the most important safety information about Gvoke. You should not use if you have a tumor in the gland on top of your kidneys (adrenal gland) called a pheochromocytoma or in your pancreas called an insulinoma or glucagonoma. This can cause severe high blood pressure, hypoglycemia, or a serious skin rash. You should not use if you are allergic to any ingredient of GVOKE, as serious allergic reactions can occur. Call your doctor or get medical help right away if you have a serious allergic reaction including rash, difficulty breathing, or low blood pressure. You should use with caution if you have a condition that causes low glucose levels in your liver including glucagonoma, starvation, problems with your adrenal glands, or chronic low blood sugar. Side effects may include nausea, hypoglycemia, vomiting, headache, hyperglycemia, and injection-site swelling, itching, and stomach pain.
