In this one-hour animated special, Daniel Boone takes a look back at the exciting events of his life. He was known for his great talents as a hunter, trackers, sharpshooter and explorer. He was fearless and had a deep regard for the Indian. The story includes his memories of his boyhood pranks, meeting George Washington, starting a family with Rebecca and exploring and settling Kentucky. It also shows his capture by the British, his life with the Shawnee Indians and his eventual defat of the British. In his humble way, Boone explains his philosophies and search for the best in life and man.
