Composing with Whites in Watercolor

There is a famous fairy tale called Hansel and Gretel where the brother and sister are taken far into the woods by their parents and abandoned. Secretly, they drop bread crumbs along the way so they can retrace their steps and find their way back home. In this video I will demonstrate how leaving small whites in a watercolor can guide the viewer's eye "home," or to what is the center of interest.
