Proving actual operational role in company
Lower application caps (maybe 500/year vs unlimited before)

For founders genuinely wanting Canada: Focus on Express Entry (work visa → PR), Provincial Nominee Programs, or Intra-Company Transfer if you have Canadian clients/office.
The startup visa shortcut is dead. Legitimate pathways remain.

Build a real business first. Immigration follows success, not the other way around.
