Over 850 Hikers, Guides Stranded in Mount Everest Blizzard Rescued | China

ఎవరెస్ట్ శిఖరాన్ని అధిరోహించడానికి వెళ్లి మంచు తుపానులో చిక్కుకున్న 850కు పైగా పర్వతారోహకులు, గైడ్లు, పోర్టర్స్ ను సురక్షిత ప్రాంతాలకు తరలించామని చైనా తెలిపింది. వందలాది మంది స్థానికులు, రెస్క్యూ బృందాలు సాయంతో వారిని కుడెంగ్ టౌన్ షిప్ సహా పరిసర ప్రాంతాలకు తరలించామని వెల్లడించింది. పర్వతారోహకులు తిరిగి వారి స్వస్థలాలకు వెళ్లేందుకు ఏర్పాట్లు చేస్తున్నామని పేర్కొంది. ఈ నెల 5న పర్వతారోహకులు ఎవరెస్ట్ శిఖరాన్ని అధిరోహించేందుకు వెళ్లగా మధ్యలో మంచు తుపాను సంభవించింది. ఫలితంగా అనేక మంది అక్కడే చిక్కుకుపోయారు. వారిలో శరీర ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు పడిపోవడంతో ఒకరు మృతిచెందారు. చైనాలో జాతీయ దినోత్సం సందర్భంగా వరుసగా ఎనిమిది రోజులు సెలవులు రావడంతో అనేక మంది ఎవరెస్ట్ శిఖరాన్ని అధిరోహించడానికి వచ్చారు...
