2011-2014 Dodge Charger CarPlay Android Radio Install – Ditch Uconnect!

In this video I install a Chinese-made Android entertainment center / radio system into my 2nd gen Dodge Charger. This applies to the 2011-2014 Dodge Charger, especially cars with the smaller factory Uconnect screen.

I go over removing the original small Uconnect setup, installing the new Android screen, connecting the harnesses, and matching up the different components needed to make the system work. I also cover some important settings after installation, including changing the system to American units so the cluster does not display kilometers, setting the radio region to the United States, and turning off the reverse camera warning/notification if your car does not have a backup camera.

This is a practical walkthrough for anyone looking to upgrade an older Dodge Charger with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a larger screen, and a more modern infotainment setup.
