The Quest for a PS4 Single Handed Controller Part 1

The official PlayStation controllers are very difficult to mod. I've been looking for a easier alternative for years which would allow me to make Single Handed Controllers for PS4.

I think I've finally found a good candidate! In this Part 1 video I'll do a teardown, talk about why it looks good, and start mocking up a new single handed design.

Part 2 (in a few weeks) will cover the actual 3D modeling and final assembly of the prototype.
