What you need to know about the remote tent sites 👇🏼

- These sites are HIKE-IN ONLY

- Approximately 1/2 mile hike to your tent site

- They are located on the Angell Loop right next to the Bowdish Reservoir

- If you are driving, there are a few parking spots at the trailhead for the Angell Loop

- There are 7 sites total

- There is a decent backcountry privy on the loop

- Site has a fire ring and picnic table

- No water, no electricity

- Be prepared to pitch your tent on a 12’x12’ wooden platform. You maybe need to get creative with how to tie it down, so it wouldn’t hurt to have some extra paracord with you!

What you need to know about the Campground 👇🏼

- This is a massive campground with many car camping and RV camping sites

- The main restroom area with normal bathrooms, coin-operated showers, fresh water, and electrical outlets is approximately 1 mile hike from the remote tent sites

- TONS of hiking trails right from the campground, search “George Washington State Management Area” on for a trail map
