can i make a song about grief if i can’t write lyrics or sing?

i used to think it was a little weird how i found music with a straight up 4-on-the-floor kick pattern to be the most soothing or emotional music for me that helped me process my feelings.

but... now that i'm trying to make music that taps into some pretty heavy feelings of mine i guess i shouldn't have been surprised that, yep, it had a 4/4 kick pattern, essentially a variation on the classic house beat.
