recently I came to rewatch madoka magica and finally watched 'rebellion', the third movie of the series. it left me breathless and stunned so I had to edit another madoka magica amv.

the music is aurora's "soft universe" which is one of the most beautiful and empowering songs i know of. i always loved the eternally endless beauty of the universe as we think of and in this song you can literally hear the universe. it's about love, hope and hurt and it goes perfectly with what homura is facing the whole time. hope, anger, lonelyness, emtiness and the wish for madoka's soft universe to keep running. at the end of the story and the song's break in rhythm, you'll see that hope can always only lie within yourself.
