A great open area with a ton of boondocking spots. Main road into camping area is directly off of US Hwy 26. There is an official recreation area posting board with info from the Palisades Ranger District as well as two vault toilets about 200 feet from the main road. There are many areas that have become established campsites and many opportunities to make your own. Sites range from private in the trees to right down on the water on gravel/dirt. Camping limit is 5 days May 1 thru Sept 1, and 16 days throughout the off season.
