LearnDash vs LifterLMS vs LearnPress vs Tutor LMS
LearnDash vs LifterLMS vs LearnPress vs Tutor LMS
Started a training site with LearnDash and woocommerce, so far so good. I grabbed their new demo - online tutor - to give me a jump start. LearnDash is fully featured and runs pretty smoothly. LearnDash is very powerful, but a lot of customization must be done through CSS. We have built dozens of sites with Divi and Elementor with LearnDash. The LMS functionality is great and the theme builder of Elementor and Divi makes the process very smooth.
LifterLMS has everything in one plugin If your payment needs aren't too complex and you can get by using just their Stripe addon (instead of WooCommerce). You've got the memberships, courses, content protection, billing, and account areas all nicely tied together. Easy to manage with just one place in the admin for all your reports.
LifterLMS is cheaper too. You should be able to get by with just the Universe bundle at $299 / yr. Whereas just LearnDash + Woo Subscriptions is going to set you back $399 / yr and you may need Woo Memberships on top of that.
Learnpress fellow is good and very active, gives the plugins free with his LMS themes. Almost has all features of Learndash and builts his own addons. If you don't have a budget for annual fees go for it. if u can afford LearnDash or LifterLMS then those have more integrations and works with many other plugins and integrations. It's easier to sell it to your customers.. as it's well known. LearnPress losing the market pretty quickly to others and has so many negetive reviews on WordPress.org Haven't used LearnPress for at least two years.
Tutor LMS has Elementor BETA plugin integration and you can build actual lessons with Elementor. Tutor LMS is comparatively cheaper with the LTD option. Deep Elementor integration coming as far I know. TutorLMS is a Little buggy from time to time but even the free version is awesome
LearnDash and LifterLMS is also a good option with Elementor integration.
