URGENT! Host Only Fees Bug Costing Airbnb Hosts $1000s

Airbnb accidentally updated settings that they didn't mean to. I mean they meant to add a host only fees option for API connected hosts. They meant to make that fee structure mandatory for some countries (thus automatically activating the fee structure.) The DID NOT mean to automatically update YOUR fee structure if you are Canada, US, or Mexico. (amongst others)

Airbnb makes their income by utilizing a service fee. That service is charged to guests and the hosts pay a transaction fee. Airbnb ( in Europe and other countries outside of the continent ) is rolling out airbnb simplified pricing. What is airbnb simplified pricing? It's an update where the guests booking on airbnb pay 0% in fees and the host agreed to pay full service fees. 15% usually. But this change has caused a bug. Some hosts in countries where it's not mandatory have been flipped to this fee structure without warning
