The video describes fundamental terms of plant taxonomy. Bisexual is used for flowers having both carpel & stamens. If only stamens or only carpel is present, flower is unisexual. Actinomorphic flower is radially symetrical, zygomorphic for bilateral symetrical & irregular for asymetrical flowers.If bracts (leaf like ) is present below sepals on pedicel, the flower is bracteate & if not present, it is ebracteate.Similarly hypogynous, perigynous, epigynous, gamo & poly conditions, epipetalous, mon, di & polyadrlphous, apocarous & syncarpous conditions are defined.
