Mum has 20 babies in one year by surrogates and spends £67,000 on their 16 nannies
A mum has had 20 babies by surrogates in just one year - and is not ruling out having even more kids.
Kristina Öztürk, 23, met her millionaire husband Galip Öztürk, 57, during a trip to Georgia, where the businessman moved after being sentenced to life imprisonment in his home country, Turkey.
A year ago they had one child together but after paying £138,000 to surrogates, their family has expanded exponentially and they now have 21 children.
The rich couple have 16 live-in nannies and spend £67,700 on them every year.
When Kristina, originally from Russia, met Galip, who had already been married once, they shared the dream of a big family.
Now, the young woman says she is with her children all the time and does "all the things that mums normally do".
Galip and Kristina - who was already mum to Victoria, six - welcomed their first baby via surrogate, a boy called Mustafa, in March last year.
They then paid their surrogates £7,700 per pregnancy and now have babies ranging from four months to 14 months old.
The millionaire family, who live in a three-storey mansion, uses 20 large packages of nappies and 53 packages of baby formula every week. Kristina told The Sun : "It costs about $5,000-$6,000 (£3,500-£4,200) per week for essentials for all the kids. Sometimes a little more, sometimes a bit less."
The woman says her six-year-old daughter is thrilled and loves to play with her siblings, feed them or read them a fairy tale.
Kristina says she is not planning more surrogate babies in the future, but is not ruling out having more kids naturally.
She explains: "I’m planning my pregnancy, but not straight away, because for now I need to be close with my babies.
"It’s hard to be a mum to 21 kids when you're pregnant."
Talking about her daily routine, Kristina says her days are never boring as she is always busy taking care of the kids.
Usually, the children go to bed at around 8pm and sleep until 6am, while Victoria wakes up at 7am.
Kristina does not manage to get much sleep, but she says it is not a problem for her as she has made the decision to have a big family.
Her husband Galip regularly shares photos of the family on Instagram to his 213,000 followers.
The businessman, who works across tourism, transport and finances, is originally from Turkey but has been living in Georgia since 2013, according to Forbes.
He is the founder of Turkish company Metro Holding and has $500 million’s worth of investment in Georgia.
In 2012, Öztürk was sentenced to life imprisonment by the Istanbul criminal court for allegedly inciting the murder of a company employee.
He denied the accusations and demanded acquittal, but later went into "self-imposed exile", Bloomberg reports.
Öztürk was previously married to Hülya Öztürk and had nine children, who live and work in Turkey.
