An Act of Service | Employee Appreciation Series Part 3
As a leader, you can energize your team by demonstrating appreciation in ways that are meaningful to them. According to Gary Chapman and Paul White's book, The Five Languages of Appreciation in the Workplace, we each have one primary way that we receive and show appreciation.
Members of your team may respond better to the second of five languages of appreciation, acts of service.
Instead of telling how much you appreciate something, show them through actions what they mean to the organization.
This will infuse energy into the person that responds best to this type of language.
