This is a forgotten 1959 film that showcases the talent of Louis Prima, Keely Smith and their band Sam Butera & the Witnesses.
This is the first of a series of films that we will upload for music students and fans. The movie is for study purposes only.

The plots sees Dorothy Spencer (played by Keely Smith) go in search of Louis Prima to contract his band to play at a village fete. The film is basically an excuse to show off the music of Prima and co.
The film features such delightful songs as 'Banana Split for my Baby', a New Orleans jazz style version of 'Oh When the Saints Go Marching In', 'Hey Boy. Hey Girl', and Sam Butera taking the vocals on 'Fever'
