I've been sewing since I was four years old. In early 2013, I began the search for a perfect pair of jeans.. and found that the best solution was making them myself. This began a passion for all things indigo - a dye imperfect in the industrial sense, but that we appreciate anyways and actually embrace because of the ability it has to reflect our lives and stories. Maybe because indigo is just like us, imperfect and always changing.

Farmtown Denim was founded upon the idea that with enough time and effort, anything can be possible. Each product in my shop is individually handmade by me in my little workshop. While I often explore many types of fabrics and materials, my work always comes back to raw denim - a textile that looks beautiful when fresh and new, but only becomes more beautiful and unique with wear. At its essence, it is a fabric that enables one to weave his or her own stories among the fading indigo cotton fibers.
