Stepwise simulation of DDOS attack in Software define network SDN using Mininet and Flood Light

Simulating DDOS attack in SDN using Mininet and Floodlight and also observing live ddos attack in sFLOW graph in UBUNTU

In this project we have designed a SDN network and implemented basic DDoS attack on it. This SDN network consists of three nodes, one of which is our targeted server which is subjected to DDoS attack by another node. This leads to disrupt in connectivity and prevents access to the server by other nodes. We have used Floodlight Controller, which is a SDN Controller developed by an open community that uses the OpenFlow protocol to orchestrate traffic flows in a software-defined networking (SDN) environment.
