Hero’s Welcome: Mushtaq Ahmad Returns Home After Flotilla Arrest! 🤩

On October 9, 2025, former Senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan landed in Islamabad after his release from Israeli detention. He had been arrested last week while leading the Global Sumud Flotilla, a mission carrying food and medicine to Gaza.

When his Gulf Air flight landed from Bahrain, hundreds greeted him with Palestinian flags, flower petals, and chants of solidarity. The Pakistan Embassy in Amman and our Foreign Office worked tirelessly behind the scenes for his safe return. Deputy PM Ishaq Dar confirmed the release and thanked all who helped.

Wearing a keffiyeh, Mushtaq Ahmad vowed to continue the mission for Palestine and support the cause.
