Turkey floods - Terrifying footage shows houses swept away

Terrifying footage shows a house collapsing and being swept away in flood waters in the northeastern Black Sea province of Arhavi on Thursday.

Footage posted by local news website Gundem Rize showed gushing flood waters washing away a village house,

One person was missing and more than 200 people were evacuated from flooded homes, Turkey's Interior Ministry officials told Reuters.

Floods are common along Turkey's Black Sea coastal region at this time of year. Last week, at least six people were killed and two others went missing in flood waters in Black Sea.
