Kawhi Leonard grateful to have made history with the Raptors, talks free agency | 2019 NBA Finals

2019 NBA Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard joins Scott Van Pelt to talk about the Toronto Raptors' win vs. the Golden State Warriors in the 2019 NBA Finals. He reflects on making history as he and his teammates bring the trophy back to Toronto, Canada for the first time in franchise history. He shares the advice he gives to his teammates, specifically in regards to the media attention that comes along with becoming a successful team, but he makes sure to stay humble when talking about his previous experience in the NBA Finals with the San Antonio Spurs and earning the 2014 NBA Finals MVP honors. Leonard is proud of the team that the Raptors have become, with "no one butting heads" to distract from the work on the hardwood and smiles as he talks about what it means to him to bring a trophy back to Jurassic Park and the fans in Toronto. He lastly touches upon free agency, saying he's taking it day-to-day and will take some time to enjoy the victory.
