5 TIPS on HIGHER EXTENSIONS (developpe) from Mariinsky ballerina Maria Khoreva

In this video I'm talking about 5 most important things that I think about whenever doing developpe to the side or to the front and whenever I'm working on making my extensions higher and more pretty looking! These are the 5 tips that I got from people around me, my coaches and ballet colleagues that really help me with lifting the legs higher in class, at the rehearsals and on stage. Please note that this only comes from my personal experience and I'm not saying that these will work for absolutely anyone, however these tips have been literal lifesavers for me and I just knew I needed to share these with you!

Developpé is one of the most beautiful moves in ballet in my opinion and it's very important for all of the slow pas de deux and solos and it adds a lot of versatility to ballerina's performance when executed nicely!
