The Led Zeppelin IV Sessions - Demos, Outtakes, Rarities, & Rough Mixes

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Led Zeppelin IV, here are some outtakes, demos, and rough mixes from the recording sessions. These come from two different sources: a raw transfer of a cassette of outtakes from Headley Grange (provided by Sean, transferred by Weedwacker, and speed corrected and shared by Glyn) and Godfather's "Studio Magik" box set. In order to avoid repetition, I've rearranged the track listing a bit, starting with the demos and working my way towards the rough mixes in order to give an idea of the progression of the recording sessions. It's by no means meant to be in perfect chronological order. Unfortunately, YouTube's copyright system ensured that I had to remove some stuff. The biggest thing I had to omit was a portion of a rough mix of Stairway to Heaven with different recorder and guitar solo parts. I saved the guitar solo as it's very different from what ended up on the album and a rather fascinating curiosity. A shame, but roughly 75-80% of all the outtakes (that I'm aware of at least) are included here. Big thanks to all involved for helping liberate these!
