Apple Cake | Aunty Sela's recipe | TasteoftheSouthPacific

This delicious recipe is one I got from my Aunt. An easy apple cake made from scratch with so much flavour. Moist, fluffy and tender this apple cake is the essence of simplicity. Enjoy with a scoop of ice cream.
Ingredients

2 cups chopped apples
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon
1/2 cup canola oil
3/4 cup black raspberries (optional)
1 cup white flour
1 cup whole wheat flour *see note*
2 teaspoon baking soda

Notes:
1. If you don't have whole wheat flour use white flour instead
