Brandon Lee and David Carradine talk about Kung Fu: The Movie (1986)

Brandon Lee and David Carradine talk about Kung Fu: The Movie (1986). In his acting debut, Brandon Lee, son of legendary martial arts cinema star Bruce Lee, plays the son of the David Carradine character in “Kung Fu: The Movie” (1986 TV movie). Bruce Lee was considered for the lead role in the original Kung Fu TV series (1972-75) but Carradine was cast instead. David Carradine comments on the quality of the original Kung Fu television series, saying it “was maybe the best show produced on television for its time, maybe ever” and expresses interest in reviving the series. “Kung Fu: The Movie” was intended as a pilot for a sequel to the original Kung Fu TV series. Eventually there was a sequel series lasting four seasons, 1993-96, but it was not a result of the film. Brandon Lee died in 1993 at age 28 after being wounded by a shot from a prop gun in an accident while filming on a movie set. https://youtube.com/c/tvcrewguy
