HBO: April Fools Day Bumpers (1987)

I WANT YOUR MTV! If you have old Beta or VHS tapes containing recordings of MTV from 1981 - 1987, I would love to talk with you (especially if the tapes contain the videos, VJs, and commercials!) This recording was discovered on an old Sony Betamax video tape, recorded on April 1st, 1987. HBO apparently had a good sense of humor about itself back then because they intro'ed BACK TO THE FUTURE with a cardboard & foil mockup of their famous "space" intro, accompanied by the HBO theme on kazoo. This collection of bumpers also includes a "you're watching HBO" bumper with the same cardboard & foil HBO logo, and an intro to the film LUCAS, rating it "NG" for "Nothing Good."
