Last week, Pakistan and China signed an agreement for the 700 MW Azad Pattan hydel power project on the Jhelum river in Sudhoti district of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK). The $ 1.5-billion project is the second power project under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), for which an agreement has been signed in the last two months. The first agreement, for the 1,100 MW Kohala project, was signed on June 23. That project, worth $ 2.3 billion, too will come up on the Jhelum near Muzaffarabad.  पिछले हफ्ते, पाकिस्तान और चीन ने पाकिस्तान अधिकृत कश्मीर (PoK) के सुधनोती जिले में झेलम नदी पर 700 मेगावाट की आज़ाद पट्टन जल विद्युत परियोजना के लिए एक समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किए|
 $ 1.5 बिलियन की यह परियोजना चीन पाकिस्तान आर्थिक गलियारे (CPEC) के तहत दूसरी जल विद्युत परियोजना है| CPEC में समझौते के तहत 1,124 मेगावाट की कोहाला बिजली परियोजना  पहली जल विद्युत परियोजना है |कोहाला परियोजना के लिए पाकिस्तान और चीन ने 23 जून को समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किये थे| $ 2.3 बिलियन लागत की कोहाला परियोजना, मुजफ्फराबाद के पास झेलम नदी पर विकसित की जा रही है
