The Trouble with Fame: The Story of Scott, Amundsen, and the South Pole | Life-Long Learning

Why has the story of Robert F. Scott’s failed quest for the South Pole mesmerized people for more than a century? Why has Roald Amundsen’s actual triumph taken a back seat to Scott’s story?
